It’s that time of the year again, when we look back on what we have done and accomplished in the past 12 months and look forward to what’s coming our way next. I can say that 2014 went by incredibly fast and it seems like it was only yesterday when I was hanging out under futuristic trees made of metal in Singapore or observed camels crossing majestic dunes in Oman. I started the year in Southeast Asia, not one of my favourite places on the planet and an area that just didn’t motivate me as a photographer. Maybe it was the heat, maybe I just didn’t feel inspired enough, maybe there was a bit too much trash and not enough nature, but that changed when I entered China and rediscovered my passion for photography. Ever since, I’ve been heading outside with my camera almost every single day again to do what I do best. I loved China and Mongolia, had an amazing time in the Middle East and crossed off some big items on my bucket list when I went on to photograph Iceland and Western Canada.
Like every year, I went through all my photos and selected my favourite ones from around the world and like always, I’ll let you enjoy the images without too many words.
Happy new year everyone!
